Multi-Grammy-nominated pianist Marta Aznavoorian has built an impressive international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator, marked by bold interpretations and a deep connection to both classical and contemporary works. A Chicago native who made her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at 13 under the invitation of Sir Georg Solti, she has performed with orchestras around the world and collaborated with leading conductors and composers of our time. As a founding member of the Lincoln Trio, she has toured extensively and recorded widely, with projects that spotlight both established and underrepresented voices. Dedicated to teaching and mentorship, she serves on the faculties of DePaul University and the Music Institute of Chicago, and her nonprofit, Keynote Productions, supports music education for students from underserved communities. Aznavoorian records for Cedille, Warner Classics, Naxos, and other labels and is a Steinway Artist.
